To my Nana
For the ribbons tied on door knobs,
trinkets scattered through the house.
Giggles and laughs,
polka dot tea cups holding tea,
Your beauty, style
most of all our handwritten notes.
since my heart fell into pieces.
Your death gave me the strength
to collect and gather them
to put it back together
your beautiful ring
Every time someone mentions it
I feel you.
Your love showing over me,
I am never alone.
Time does heal,
I love you as big as the sky Nana,
I always will.
