Dear Nana

Dear Nana,

Today I should be laying pink roses on your grave before coming back to Berlin. I am grateful you passed last year surrounded by the girls, who held space as you transitioned into the next realm.

I miss you more than words can explain, my heart is filled with wonderful memories of music, dance, movies, walks in the parks, our wonderful phone calls, you forever stalking me on Facebook and Instagram, for always reading my blog and most of all our cups of tea watching our favourites Emma and Pride and Prejudice.

“To be fond of dancing was a certain step towards falling in love.” — Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice.

Thank you for always encouraging me to write,  to tell my stories and bring light to others around me.

Enjoy your dance with Pop tonight and just maybe Frank Sinatra is playing for you.

I love you with all of my heart and some! Now for a cup of tea and Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version of course).

Love Sarah
